The 990v6, made in the USA, continues this original design with several performance-enhancing modifications. The upper eliminates the standard midfoot seam, allowing layers of pigskin and synthetic material to extend from heel to toe over a mesh lining, giving the shoe a subtle, streamlined look. The new design is one of the most drastic changes compared to the previous generation. It has never been seen before in the 990! The biggest change lies inside. Thanks to the addition of FuelCell cushioning in the midsole, the new 990 looks as good as it feels. New Balance MADE is at least 70% domestic.
